Few part of this story.

1. I used HC520 to store my data ~ 10T
2. I used B2 Personal to Backup everything into Cloud.
3. I don't have local backup at this moment. ( That's really bad move )

Thing started 27 days ago.

27 days ago B2 backup just stopped and I don't see it actually until maybe 2-3 after I found my 14T disk is unable to mount on my Mac Mini.

I just recovery my sister in law disk data by Disk Drill ( BTW very nice app for MacOS! ) like 500G data. all data recover very well, I just safe my sister in law few years life back!

Why B2 Personal

Back then I Evaluate B2 Person I think it is what I looking for, Cheap, if something bad happen you can just restore date from B2 Person to B2 Cloud and use rclone sync everything back with bit money, it seems nice and Engineer Welcome, so I pay for two years B2 person and backup everything on it with passphase, Everything runs fine until my disk dead.

What's going on with my HC520?

It HFS partition just dead with no reason. I check many thing on Google but there's no answer, if you used HFS I bagging you switch to APFS asap.

even you used RAID-5 but if you still used HFS, you may just get hit by what I just got.
